According to web application company NetApplication, Firefox’s share dropped to 8.07 percent in July, down from 8.71 percent. Curiously, the entire 0.64 percent of users seemed to have gone back to Internet Explorer, as its share moved from 86.56 percent to 87.20 percent.

Are the July numbers an anomaly, or has Firefox adoption peaked and begun to slip? One month’s worth of data is not enough to give us a definitive answer to that question.
