IE 7 is now Windows Internet Explorer 7 August 16, 2005

Microsoft’s Internet Explorer team has just unveiled the logo for the upcoming IE7 on its blog late last week. The official name of the browser is now Windows Internet Explorer 7. The logo is complete with golden planetary ring.
If you have spare time, read comments on the blog which are ranging from praising the logo to critical.
