Starting 10.00 AM this morning major power outage hits Jakarta and other large cities. The outage stopped trains, elevators and the normal flow of traffic and life. One of my fellows said that she was trapped for 1 hour at Sudirman Street amid traffic jam.
KOMPAS recently reports that Paiton Generator is broken. Electric company says that they need 3 hours to fix the error. The paper also reports that large cities across Java and Bali are affected by the blackout.
