WordPress.com to Offer Hosted Service August 22, 2005

Matt Mullenweg has announced the launch of WordPress.com. This is going to be a hosted blog service a la TypePad of MovableType, but of course using the WP platform. Let’s wait and see.
Matt also did some demoing of WP 1.6 at his talk at BlogBusiness Summit and the new version is going to be sporting a WYSIWYG editor and improved sidebar features for categories, blogrolls,
